Collage Powerpoint Exercise Reflection

This power point did not surprise me at all. My sister has already applied and got into collages so she has told me what I need to do. The only thing that did surprise me was that UC collages and CSU collages would give me money if I had a certain grade point average. Also when i realized that the type of collage that I wanted to get into was a 3.86 or higher average, I realized something. That something was that I need to step it up in my academics and my effort towards school work. I realized that if I screw up now I won't get another chance.

Goal 1: Organization. WHY: For me, organization was one of the biggest problems for me last semester. It held me back from turning work in on time. Not only do I want my stuff to be organized, I want my mind to be more organized so that I can focus more.

Goal 2: Try to figure out what I like learning. WHY: In advisory a girl, sophomore in collage, told us that she found out what she liked to do. She said that she could relate all of the things that didn't interest her to the thing that she liked to do. I would like to find the same thing. I realize that it might not happen and is a far goal but I am set on pursuing it.

Goal 3: Reading. WHY: My parents always nag me about my reading and however much I want to disagree I know they are right when they say I need to read more. For me reading is not enjoyable. Don't get me wrong, I want reading to be enjoyable and to be a hobby. So for me, I want to find the type of writing that I like the best so that I will enjoy reading more.
